Welcome to Pastors University
We want to train
you to be a better Pastor
In today’s world, leadership is being tested like never before. The recent events of pandemic and unrest have shown that pastors in 2020 will face new challenges as no generation before them.
Pastors University is “50 lessons from 50 years” from a seasoned pastor who has trained some of the most successful pastors in America. Every aspiring Senior Pastor needs a coach, a mentor, a father. Without it, only 1 in 10 pastors reach retirement as a pastor. In only four months, a pastor can “re-lay the foundation” of their life, their family, their church, and their legacy. Pastor Larry is waiting for YOU to apply!
our mission
Our mission is to create Legacy Pastors who are
ready for the challenges of a lifetime.
A brief introduction to Pastors University
Pastors University is a live and virtual learning environment. In each module there are elements of live teaching and virtual teaching. There are 12 lessons in each Module. After each lesson in a Module, the students break down into small groups of pastors for a “Learning Community” discussion and prayer.
During each Module, the students will engage in live worship, prayer, and personal ministry throughout the day. Occasionally, there will be networking activities to build relationships and for fun!
Curriculum
+ Module One (The Eagle) is on “spirituality.”
+ Module Two (The MAN) is on “self-management.”
+ Module Three (The Ox) is on “systems.”
+ Module Four (The Lion) is on “strategy.”
Meet our founder
Pastor Larry Stockstill, D.D.
Larry grew up under the 68 year ministry of his father, Roy Stockstill. He began preaching at 16 and graduated from Oral Robert University in 1975. After marrying his wife Melanie at 23 and going to Africa as a missionary, he became the pastor of Bethany Church at 30. In 28 years, the church grew from 1500 to 7500 and planted 25,000 other churches worldwide. Since his son Jonathan became pastor in 2011, Larry has travelled and spoken 150 times annually training pastors, conferences, and local churches.
